History: What happens when you live in a universe that never invented jimmies (“sprinkles” for those of you living outside Universe 215)? Well, some genius in 1950 gets the idea to add popping candy to the icing and BOOM! (pun intended) The Potent Donut bursts onto the scene. The brand was a regional phenomenon until 1967, when auto racing legends Mario & Rhetti found the brand, fell in love with eating explosions for breakfast, and convinced owner Bill Quincy to sponsor their 24 Hours of Indianapolis car. They won the race, which blasted Potent Donut into the spotlight. Today, all parties involved are synonymous with going fast and tiny explosions and Potent Donut has more than 140,000 locations across 97 universes and 158 planets.

Reflection: 🌊 As a lifelong fan of motorsports and things that explode, Potent Donut has always been among my favorite treats. My regular order is the frosted snozberry jelly donut with double explosions.
